Lack of parts forces GM to halt pickup production

Toyota Motor Co. and Subaru grasp slowed production next to their North American plants to conserve parts. GM makes the GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Colorado minor pickups participating in Shreveport. The company wont say which parts it is curt on, but both pickups application a five-speed handbook transmission made by Japanese supplier Aisin Seiki Co GMs other North American plants havent been affected so far. GM understood it wish resume production so soon so promising. It has on a 70-day supply of both pickups Ford Motor Co.
